IAPF Council

2010 Objectives:

• Continue to articulate IAPF positions to all relevant stakeholders and ensure the IAPF is seen as the Voice of Pensions in Ireland
• Review of IAPF strategic goals in the light of the current economic downturn
• Ensure the main policy positions of the IAPF are developed and progressed in conjunction with the Committees particularly in relation to tax relief, DB Funding, access to ARFs for DC members and investment governance
• Provide accurate, timely and beneficial guidance and information to IAPF members on current topical issues
• Maximise benefits to members that encourage retaining existing members and attract new members to join
• Ensure a range of IAPF events are run which are beneficial to members and generate sufficient revenue for the IAPF
• Develop a Trustee Network.
