The postponement of the deadline for submitting funding proposals has left many trustees with a dilemma. What should they do now? Does the funding standard still apply? What next?
Maybe this postponement creates an opportunity for pensions schemes to take action now that:
(a) Addresses the main risks; while
(b) Being confident that the actions are consistent with the regulatory emphasis on the need for substantively better management of risks in the future
This event will look at how trustees might approach this and also hear from Brendan Kennedy as to what trustees should be doing at this point in time.
