Introduction

Benefits Seminar – New DB model

The IAPF Annual General Meeting will take place on at 4.00pm on the 18th May 2011 in The Chartered Accountants House, Dublin, as already advised to Member Representatives.

Afterwards at 4.45pm there will be a “Benefits Seminar on the New DB model”

The National Pensions Framework Implementation Group recently issued a Consultation Paper on the “Proposed Approach to Defined Benefit Provision”. This follows on from the announcement by the previous Minister for Social Protection last October that work would be accelerated on developing a new DB Model.
