Introduction

Member Communication in Financial Crisis – Embrace or Avoid?

Communication to scheme members in times like we are currently experiencing poses particular difficulties. There is a fine balance to be drawn between reassuring members who have real concerns about their pension schemes and panicking them. The seminar will look at both sides of this debate based on what is being experienced by consultants on a day to day basis and it will consider the role of the Trustees in communicating with members. There will also be input from a communications expert and a pensions lawyer on the issues as they see them. The seminar will be chaired by the Pensions Ombudsman, Paul Kenny.

Who Should Go?

Pension Scheme Trustees and Managers, Pension and Investment Professionals, HR and Finance Managers and other company executives.
