Introduction

2007 has been a turbulent year for investors. This seminar will consider the outlook for 2008 and what is in store for investors. Will the turbulence continue or are we in for more tranquil times? The well-known economic commentator, Austin Hughes, will consider what is ahead of us in 2008.

While 2007 was a turbulent year for investors worldwide, it was particularly so for investors in the Irish Stock Market. This has led to much debate on the levels of investment by Irish Pension Funds in Irish stocks. Rory Gillen, Merrion Capital and Evelyn Ryder, Hewitt Associates will debate the pros and cons of this issue.

Who should go?
Pension Scheme Trustees and Managers, Pension and Investment Professionals, HR and Finance Managers and other company executives.
