Introduction

It is now over ten years since Pension Adjustment Orders were introduced in Ireland with the passing of the Family Law Act 1995.  It is also some ten years since the introduction of divorce in Ireland with the Family Law (Divorce) Act 1996.  Hilary Coveney's practical presentation will review the area of Pension Adjustment Orders in particular, having regard to key statutory provisions, issues facing and advices required by pension trustees and both member and non-member spouses. This seminar will also address current practice and procedure in the family law courts and the ongoing role and duties of trustees once a Pension Adjustment Order has been granted, together with a review of all relevant and recent case law.

Irish Property has been the single best performing asset class over the last ten years.  Is now the time for Irish Pension Funds to embrace alternative Property markets?  What about the cost of exiting now?  Deborah Reidy will discuss current trends along with the practical side of where and how to invest.

Who should go? Pension Scheme Trustees and Managers, Pension and Investment Professionals, HR and Finance Managers and other company executives.
