Defined Contribution continues to develop in Ireland as it becomes a bigger part of overall pension provision. There have also been significant developments in other countries where DC is more established.
The IAPF DC conference will look at experience in the US, UK and Europe and examine how these developments can be applied in Ireland. With the Government planning to establish an auto-enrolment DC scheme for everybody who doesn’t have pension provision by 2014, we will also hear from Mark Fawcett who is responsible for the investment design of the UK’s auto-enrolment scheme, National Employee Savings Trust. The Conference will also look at the issue of DC trusteeship and one of the most important aspects of DC provision – Communication.
Who should go? Pension Scheme Trustees and Managers, Pension and Investment Professionals, HR and Finance Managers and other company executives.
