Based on feedback from the last Trustee Network event, this event will focus on Funding Proposals. Trustees of most defined benefit schemes will be involved in agreeing a funding proposal for submission to the Pensions Board. These can involve some very tough decisions and a lot of interaction with the scheme’s actuaries and legal advisers. This event will look at the processes involved and focus on the issues faced by trustees from both an actuarial and legal perspective.
Who Should Go? The discussion will be limited to trustees only and will not include any professional advisers in order to allow trustees the freedom to openly share their own experience and concerns.
