Membership - What's in it for your scheme in 2013?

IAPF Information Library

IAPF is the leading organisation representing pensions in Ireland. It is a powerful voice in promoting the cause of provision for retirement. At present IAPF represents over 350 corporate members. These include the largest occupational pension schemes in Ireland.

More and more companies are recognising the value of being a member of IAPF. The IAPF is the voice of Irish Pensions and represents your views at all relevant pension arenas. IAPF concentrates the power of its membership to influence government, regulators and the media.

As a member of IAPF, you will contribute to the collective voice and you will therefore be able to influence the pensions agenda within Ireland and Europe. The current agenda facing you is very large. This requires a cohesive voice able to represent these issues over a broad spectrum in order to influence policy development.  Your membership will deepen our understanding and strengthen our influence.

Whether you are a trustee, company executive, pension manager, accountant, administrator or service provider, membership of the IAPF will give you impartial guidance and expertise on issues facing you.

Representation

IAPF is well regarded as an authoritative voice in its dealings with legislators and regulators. IAPF has been effective in raising awareness and leading debate on the trends and issues facing pensions.

The IAPF represents members' interests at all levels by lobbying of National Government, the Pensions Board, the Revenue Commissioners and other relevant state agencies. For its members, the IAPF seeks to influence the future direction of pensions in Ireland and to provide for financial security of all retired people.

The Association is also actively engaged, through membership of the European Federation of Retirement Provision (EFRP), in European developments on behalf of our membership.
