Trustee Investment Training

The IAPF Trustee Investment Training is aimed at Trustees and pension professionals who want to deepen their understanding of investment issues.

The programme covers key aspects of investment theory and fund management practice through a mix of presentations by experts, group workshops and real life case studies.
On completion of the course, delegates will have an understanding of the main issues relevant to investment including: factors that influence investment strategy, post crises and deficit issues and investment decision making.

Trustee Investment Training is facilitated by Frank O’Brien and Brian O’Loughlin, who have extensive investment experience and are experts in their respective fields. Biographies available here.

The course is continually updated to reflect legislation and trustee requirements.
