Introduction

THE IAPF ANNUAL BENEFITS CONFERENCE 2014

The 2014 IAPF Annual Benefits Conference will look at recent developments in pension provision in Ireland and DB schemes in particular. It will hear from the Pensions Authority regarding DB funding, consider what trustees should now do in the wake of the Element Six and Omega Pharma judgements. It will also discuss new research on  DB schemes, how the Irish pension system ranks worldwide, and global retirement provision development. We will hear about the practical issues UK schemes and employers had to deal with in the introduction of Auto-enrolment. We will discuss issues trustees have to deal with arising from the Budget the week before and developments in Europe.

The IAPF Annual Benefits Conference will bring together over 250 trustees, pension schemes, HR and finance managers, policymakers and investment practitioners to consider and discuss issues facing pension schemes today. 

CPD: This Conference has been accredited 4 CPD hours by the LIA & IOB under Category 2. Pensions. (LIA Ref: O-5267)(IOB Ref: 2014-1912). It has also been accredited 4 CPD hours from the IIPM.
