Brendan Kennedy, Chief Executive, The Pensions Board
Brendan Kennedy is Chief Executive of the Pensions Board, which is the Irish statutory body responsible for regulating pensions and for providing pension policy advice to the Minister for Social Protection.
Brendan joined the Pensions Board as Actuarial Adviser in 2004 and was appointed Chief Executive in December 2006.
He has spent almost his entire career in pensions. Before joining the Pensions Board, he held a variety of life insurance and consulting positions with Canada Life, Howard Johnson and Company and Irish Life.
Brendan is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland, of the Institute of Actuaries and of the Irish Institute of Pensions Managers.
