In April 2008, the IAPF, working in conjunction with the Pensions Board, launched the IAPF DC Investment Guidelines. The Investment Guidelines are designed to help trustees by setting a benchmark for best practice. This booklet follows the guidelines and sets out suggestions on how Trustees, Plan Sponsors, fund Managers and Advisers of Defined Contribution plans can ensure compliance with the guidelines in practice. The intention of this document is to promote higher standards of governance of pension fund assets in Ireland. Copies of this booklet have been distributed to members.
