Update on Reporting Guidance
As you will be aware, the ECB and EIOPA are introducing reporting requirements for pension schemes throughout Europe which come into effect in 2019. The Pensions Authority recently contacted all registered administrators regarding the data collection process. A copy of a letter from the Central Bank of Ireland that was attached to the e-mail can be accessed here.
Further details are also available on the Central Bank’s website including a list of schemes that will be subject to detailed reporting requirements. We will continue to liaise with the Central Bank and Pensions Authority on this and plan to organise workshops early in 2019.
