I would also like to thank my Council, our committee chairpersons Colm, John and Peter, and also our working group chairs Tony Murray, Tom Gilligan and John O’Callaghan. I would like to thank my Vice- Chairperson Eunice Dreelan for her support to me over the year. I would like to also thank my firm, Eversheds Sutherland, for their support to me as Chairperson. Finally, I would like to thank my wife Linda for her support. Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy the rest of the evening. We look forward to working with the Department to lend the benefit of the experience and expertise that exists within our membership. Last but not least I want to talk about people, and in particular the people I have had the privilege of working with in the IAPF. We all know Jerry and the exceptional work he does on behalf of the Association. I can also vouch for the fact that Jerry is extremely highly regarded within PensionsEurope, and enables us to punch above our weight in that organisation. Jerry has a small but fantastic team around him, including Amy Peat, Kelley McMenamin, Lisa Downes and of course our Operations Manager, Deirdre Ross.
