Who we are

Established in 1973, the IAPF represents Irish pension savers. Our members are responsible for some €138 billion in retirement savings in Ireland.

We seek to educate, represent and inform our members with a view to achieving secure, fair and simple retirement provision.

We provide education to our members through Conferences, Seminars, and Trustee Training Courses. We represent the interest of members at all levels by actively lobbying with Government Departments and Agencies, the Pensions Authority, the Revenue Commissioners, and other relevant stakeholders. We actively publish issues through the media and also engage at European level though our membership of PensionsEurope. We inform our members of any developments that may affect them in their role of looking after pension savings.

What we do

IAPF provides a wide range of member services in education, representation and information:

  • Strong representation
  • Research and policy proposals
  • Regular updates on pension developments
  • Education and training events
  • Guidelines and publications

We believe these services provide significant added value to each member. Another benefit of IAPF membership is the ability to access a huge network of pension schemes and people who are involved in improving retirement provision in Ireland.
