Passive or Active Management – Which is the Best Approach?

The Active versus Passive management debate has been ongoing since the early 1970s. A case can be made for each approach with both strategies having advantages and disadvantages that should be considered by pension investors and trustees alike. In this interactive debate Andy Ivory-Corr, Head of Investment Sales, New Ireland Assurance and Graham Fox, Vice President of State Street Global Advisors and Head of Domestic Intermediaries in Ireland, will share their views as to why they believe you should choose one approach over the other.

Prior to the seminar the IAPF Annual General Meeting will take place at 5.00pm as advised to Member Representatives.

This seminar has been allocated 1 hour by the IAPF for on-going trustee training requirements. We have confirmation for 1 CPD hour from the LIA and are awaiting confirmation from the IOB under category 2. Pensions. (LIA Ref: 14373), (IOB Ref: 2017-0958). We also have confirmation from the IIPM for 1 CPD hour.
