Introduction

The Accelerating Growth of DC Pensions
Securing Our Future

The Irish Pension Industry, which is responsible for assets of c. €87 billion in retirement savings, is in a period of rapid change. No consensus has yet emerged on the design of a sustainable pension system for Ireland but it is clear that Defined Contribution pension provision is becoming a much greater part of the overall solution. This, the 1st IAPF DC Conference, will look at some of the issues facing DC trustees and some of the options open to them as DC plans develop.

The Conference will draw from international research and also present the results of a recent survey carried out by the IAPF on DC provision. This should provide for interesting and informative debate and the views of the audience will also be sought on many issues. The conference will also look at the practicalities of operating a DC plan in the modern work environment.

Who Should Go?

All those involved in the operation of DC plans particularly Trustees, HR Managers and Pension Professionals.
