Introduction

Seminar – "The Pensions Challenge"

Since 2006 we have seen the publication of the Pensions Board’s National Pensions Review and Special Saving for Retirement reports and the Government’s Green Paper on Pensions. All of the debate that surrounded these reports and the responses to the Green Paper consultation took place in a very different economic climate. Recent events and comments might suggest that the focus has changed from the long-term issues to the short-term.

This seminar will look at the risks associated to such a change in approach and what it might mean for pension provision today and in the future, with particular focus on the impact of any reduction in the rate of tax relief on contributions to pension schemes.

This seminar is open to IAPF Members only, the purpose of which is to show members the work the IAPF has been doing and is continuing to do on their behalf on this issue.

Who Should Go?

Pension Scheme Trustees and Managers, Pension and Investment Professionals, HR and Finance Managers, Trade Unions and other company executives.
