There have been a number of announcements lately, that we have summarised below. Later this week, we will be issuing our Review of 2021, to include CPD codes for our events.

Code of Practice 

Following a consultation process, the Pensions Authority published the Code of Practice for Trustees of Occupational Pension Schemes and Trust RACs.  This, along with a Commentary document, can be read here.  

An Employer Guide to Defined Contribution Master Trusts 

The Pensions Authority published an "Employer Guide to Defined Contribution Master Trusts" which can be found on their website here.

Engagement Programme Findings Report 2021

The Authority also published the 2021 Engagement Programme Findings Report. You can read the full report here.

OECD - Long-term Investment Stakeholder Engagement Groups 

Would you like to join the OECD stakeholder group on long-term investment? This online forum will be asked to share expertise to ensure the policy work being developed is applicable and relevant.

Best Practices and Performance of Auto-enrolment Mechanisms for Pension Savings 

The Publications Office of the European Union has published a study that describes the features and best practices of different auto-enrolment mechanisms, across the EU and further afield. It shows the impact of auto-enrolment on pension adequacy, particularly in countries where it is well established.
