Introduction

THE IAPF ANNUAL BENEFITS CONFERENCE 2019

This conference will look at topical issues and also focus on the future of DB schemes in Ireland as the nature of schemes change with no new entrants and a long run off phase. We will also hear first-hand on the work the EU is doing on sustainable finance and how its recently published taxonomy will help. We will take a very practical look at death benefits in schemes and the pensions gender gap.

This half day conference will bring together over 250 trustees, pension schemes, HR and finance managers, policymakers and pension practitioners to consider and discuss these issues facing pension schemes today. Bookings are now open and further details of the conference will follow.

CPD

This Conference is allocated 4 CPD hours by the IAPF for on-going trustee training requirements. We have confirmation of 4 CPD hours from the LIA (LIA06625_2019), the IOB (2019-2045) and the IIPM under category 2. Pensions and Pension Trustee Practitioners (PTP) hours and 2 CPD hours under category 3. Investments.  If you have a query relating to the CPD hours, please contact the relevant awarding bodies.
