We are looking forward to welcoming our members to our first conference of the year on 25 March.
With many of our members making rapid changes to their pension schemes in response to the Christmas minimum contribution regulations, clarity on the path ahead is more important than ever. We are delighted that Roma Burke, Chair of NAERSA, will join us to discuss NAERSA’s strategy. We will also hear from a panel of Heads of Reward, who will share their experiences of auto-enrolment and how they are adapting their pension plans in this evolving environment.
With most trustees now approaching their second cycle of Critical Reviews and Own Risk Assessments, we will explore the key learnings from the first round, how expectations have evolved, and what trustees should be preparing for this time around. We are pleased to be joined by a panel of Chairs of trustee boards, who will share their insights and experiences, drawn from their own ORA and critical review processes.
We will also take a closer look at the IAPF’s response to the consultation on in-scheme drawdown. Members of our working group will share insights from international experience, outline the key recommendations we have put forward, and highlight the most challenging issues that will need to be resolved as the framework develops.
The IAPF Spring Conference 2026 will bring together over 200 trustees, Pensions, HR and finance managers, policymakers and service providers to consider and discuss issues facing pension schemes today.
This event has been allocated CPD hours by the IAPF for on-going trustee training requirements. We will apply for 1 CPD hour in category Pensions and 2 hours in category Savings & Investment from the LIA (tbc), IOB (tbc) and the IIPM.
