Introduction

DC Pensions – Responding to the Trustee Challenge

Defined Contribution schemes are often portrayed as handing over all the responsibilities to the members. That view ignores the duties and obligations of trustees that are becoming more and more prevalent as DC provision evolves.

This Conference will look at how trustees can deal with the challenges that exist with particular focus on investment, governance and communication issues. It will draw from international and local experiences to examine how trustees can deal with the issues they face now and are likely to face in the future as DC continues to evolve.
